The CTAWWA Section is pleased to offer operator training before the Hydrant Hysteria Competition. The training will cover hydrant topics from McWane Ductile and iHydrant presenters. 

9 am-10 am -All Things Ductile, Jeff Houser, McWane Ductile

A comprehensive overview of the use of ductile iron pipes for water and sewer applications. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of iron pipe through manufacture & application for today’s modern Ductile Iron Pipe. Including insightful information from an experienced professional in the manufacture, installation, and service aspects of utility piping systems

10:15 am-11:15 am The Evolution of Pressure Monitoring to Benefit Drinking Water Utilities, Kyle Bills, iHydrant

Upon taking this class, operators will have a high-level overview of drinking of pressure monitoring for their systems and an explanation of different technologies being developed to benefit drinking water utilities. 

Following the presentations class enrollees are invited to enjoy a lunch as they watch teams compete in the CTAWWA Hydrant Hysteria Championship. The winning teams will represent CTAWWA at a Hydrant Hysteria Championship at ACE in Denver, CO.
